Welcome to Sunnyside
in Sheringham
Relax by the Sea

About us
We are Kristi and Nick.
Nick Grew up in Sheringham and Kristi fell in love with the place when she moved to Norfolk 12 years ago. Sunnyside is our beautiful seaside holiday home.
Dog-friendly (not just 'dog tolerant!) and cosy, Sunnyside make for a perfect holiday for families or couples in the stunning resort of Sheringham.
Stay at Sunnyside and you are only a few steps from everything Sheringham has to offer — whether that’s beach walks with the dogs or meeting friends in one of our lovely local pubs, cafes, or restaurants. At Sunnyside you are never far away from the best that Sheringham and the North Norfolk Coast has to offer.

Why choose Sunnyside
Sunnyside is a three storey townhouse with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, wifi and smart TVs in all bedrooms.
Sunnyside is just a few steps to the town and shops, and only five minutes from the beach or the heritage train station.
We are very dog friendly and allow your furry family members in all rooms with you. There is an allocated off-street car parking space and a small outside patio area at the front of the property.
Recently renovated, Sunnyside sleeps up to four adults plus an infant. The top floor showcases a large king-size bed with brand new ensuite bathroom and large smart TV.
On the first floor there is one double bedroom and one small double bedroom sharing a shower room.
Why choose Sheringham?
Sheringham is a quintessential, vibrant seaside town on the North Norfolk coast in England. Sheringham is famous for its award-winning Blue Flag sandy beach, heritage steam railway, and rich Viking history. The town offers a perfect mix of traditional seaside charm and outdoor adventure.
Culture and leisure
There's something for everyone here!
Of course, Sunnyside is lovely enough to relax in but it's easy to make the most of our town whilst you're here. Why not watch a show or film at the Little Theatre, visit the Sheringham Mo Museum, enjoy the local amusement arcades or browse our independent high street.
For nature lovers, this part of the coast is a great choice for bird watching or you can follow the discovery trail on the deep history coastline. There's also Sheringham Park, a boating lake and miles of trails and walks, not to mention the Poppy Line heritage railway and, of course, our blue-flag beach.
For those with more energy there's a local swimming pool, The Reef, and you can hire bicycles and paddle boards locally. There are playgrounds for children, miniature and full scale golf courses nearby and the new Sea Sauna will warm you up after a brisk dip in the sea.
Sheringham is also host to a variety of fantastic annual events:
-
The Viking Festival - April
-
The Potty Festival - July (morris dancing and folk music)
-
Carnival Week - August (this year running 7th - 9th August 2026)
-
1940s Weekend - September (this year this will run from Friday 18th - Sunday 20th September)

Guest Reviews
"We had a fantastic few days in Sunnyside. The accommodation was very nice and clean. Position of the accommodation was ideal as my father is not so good on his feet now. He said that the mattress in the front bedroom was the best he has slept on. Have recommended you to friends as the service received has been exemplary." – Mary, May 2026
"We have enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you! It’s been dreamy. Super comfortable and quiet and so very cosy. That top attic room was so lovely! What a treat!" – April 2026
“We loved Sunnyside. It was so central: it took only 5 minutes to walk to the railway station and the main street was at the end of the road. The lounge was small but comfortable and well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. The 2 main bedrooms were quiet and restful and I think we both slept really well. I shall certainly comeback again” – Elizabeth, September 2025
